Location: 36 Littlejohn Glen Ct, Greenville, SC 29615 Position Title: Commissioning Engineer/Senior Software Engineer Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, 40 Hours/ Week Summary of Duties: The Commissioning Engineer/Senior Software Engineer will provide second level support for controls and maintenance team. Monitor systems and indications of possible improvements in system processes. Train team members on system operation. Conduct software improvements to achieve easier operation. Analyze fault message based on PLC data and indication of measures to improve overall availability. Plan and implement software changes for additional functions or based on production request. Provide support for scheduled maintenance work to reset the controls system and ensure the PLC system is running again. Approximately 10% domestic and international travel required. Qualifications: The position requires a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field of study. The position requires 8 years in the job offered or as a Software and Commissioning Engineer, or related role. Alternatively, the position requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or a related field of study and 10 years in the job offered or as a Software and Commissioning Engineer, or related role. The position also requires experience with the following: Siemens Sinamics Drives; Siemens Simatic Step5; Siemens Simatic Step7; Siemens Simatic Profinet; Siemens Simatic Safety Software; Siemens Simatic WinCC Flexible (HMI); Siemens Eplan; Siemens Safety programming. Will accept any suitable combination of education and experience deemed equivalent to a U.S. degree determined by a reputable credentials evaluation service.
