In your role you will be responsible for these topics in particular: Your role * Conceptualize, develop, and implement high-quality software modules for our leading client-server capacity planning and timetabling system, revolutionizing the public transportation industry. * Improve existing software modules, implement new tests, and collaborate on bug-fixing to ensure performance and reliability. * Write clean, scalable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices and industry standards. * Work closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver innovative solutions that meet project requirements. * Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality and provide constructive feedback to team members. * Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to ensure the stability and performance of the software. * Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the software development process. Your profile * * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. * Professional experience in C++ development (preferably C++11 or later). * Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns. * Knowledge of software testing and debugging methodologies and frameworks. * Experience with multi-threading and concurrency to develop high-performance software. * Proficiency in using version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage code changes effectively. * Experience with Qt6 and Docker is a plus. * Familiarity with Agile development methodologies to promote iterative development and collaboration. * Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. * Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical. * Willingness to work with different programming languages is preferred. * Fluent in written and spoken English.
