We are looking for an Electrical Assembler for our LV Switchboard production team. This position will be based in Wendell, NC. An Electrical Assembler is responsible for performing sub-assembly wiring and final assembly wiring duties on products for Low and Medium Voltage Electrical Distribution Equipment such as Switchgears, Switchboards and Breakers. Shift Hours: 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm Hourly Rate: $20.36 + $1.00 Shift Differential Please Note: Training will be done on 1st shift (one to two months) prior to being moved to the 2nd shift You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications: Basic Qualifications * 1+ year of experience in mechanical assembly or a related mechanical field. * 1+ years’ experience with commercial or industry wiring * Basic proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking. * Proficiency in reading and working with schematic drawings, layouts, and wire lists with minimal supervision. * Experience using standard hand and power tools, including pneumatic and battery-operated tools, wiring tools, and accurately reading a tape measure. * Applicants must be legally authorized for employment within the United States without the need for current or future employer - sponsored work authorization. Preferred Qualifications * Possess some knowledge on electrical clearances * Associates Degree or technical training in area of responsibility * Proven record in Quality and Productivity You'll make an impact by: * Perform sub-assembly and final assembly wiring with high accuracy and workmanship, including proper stripping and crimping techniques. * Work with large power cables, ensuring correct crimping methods, and assemble components on panels per layouts or drawings. * Record job transactions, read BOMs, follow layouts and assembly drawings. * Set and use torque wrenches correctly, adhering to developed processes and seeking ways to improve. * Adherence to Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety policies, with a commitment to continuous improvement and be a strong team player. * Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Management.
