Siemens Smart Infrastructure is looking for interns for our Electrification and Automation division in Wendell, NC. You’ll make an impact by: * Reviewing Customer specifications, commercial and technical documents, and product requirements. * Collaborating with Engineers within the Business Unit to generate technical solutions for the Siemens suite of products. * Create budgetary tool to generate equipment details for Low Voltage Motor Control Centers. * Review and analyze historical trends to support standardization. To apply for the Internship program, candidates must meet the following requirements: * Majors: Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student studying Electrical Engineering or Computer Science * Education: Current student pursuing a bachelor's degree from an accredited technical school, college, or university (you must be a registered student at the time of the internship) * Relocation: No travel /or relocation compensation. Applicants must be local and able to work on-site at the office in Wendell, NC * Working Hours: Fall Internships are Part-time up to 29 hours per week. Work times starting from 8-9am and ending they day 4-6pm with flex start and end times. * Work Authorization: Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications: * Ability to prioritize work responsibility and meet project deadlines * Exposure to analytical tools, such as PowerBI or Tableau * Good verbal and written communication skills * Experience with MS office products with proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint You’ll benefit from: * Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to our employees. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location. * Additionally, interns for Siemens are eligible to contribute into our 401K program.
