You’ll make a difference by: * Cultivating strong relationships: Build and maintain effective sales and marketing relationships with end-users, specifiers, contractors, and project delivery partners. * Driving proactive presales efforts: Actively follow up on projects and build a robust pipeline to generate strong business opportunities and demand. * Ensuring pre-sales success: Proactively track the delivery of ongoing project orders and products to identify and capitalize on further business opportunities with customers. * Managing key partnerships: Take ownership and manage relationships with Project Delivery Partners (PDPs) to ensure order and sales forecasts, project pipeline development, stock availability, and their internal sales capabilities are met. * Analyzing the competitive landscape: Assess competitors by gathering and summarizing their information and trends to identify potential sales advantages. You excel in: * Business Development Experience & Customer Engagement: Proven ability to engage customers throughout the project lifecycle - 1-3 years business development in electrical/electronic preferred; fresh graduates welcome. * Technical & Industry Acumen: In-depth understanding of electrical protection devices, distribution networks (low voltage a plus), and experience with consultants, manufacturers, or indirect panel builder distributors - in Data Centre field is added advantage. * Business Development Process Proficiency: Skilled in RFQ analysis, technical evaluation, commercial negotiation, and delivering impactful presentations. * Exceptional Communication & Influence: Excellent interpersonal, influencing, persuasion, verbal, and written communication skills. * Independent & Customer-Focused Approach: Self-motivated with a strong customer service ethic, capable of effective remote collaboration. * Relevant Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (desired but not mandatory; relevant experience considered).
