As a Cybersecurity Professional, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the security, trust, and competitiveness of Siemens Digital Industries’ offerings in the U.S. market—while contributing to national defense priorities through robust cybersecurity compliance. Siemens Digital Industries is seeking a Cybersecurity Professional to assess, implement and monitor compliance with the DoD’s Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) program, and to be the main point of contact in the US Digital Industries business for all market-facing cybersecurity requirements. In addition to internal compliance, the Cybersecurity Officer will play a critical role in shaping Siemens’ product cybersecurity strategy for the U.S. market—advising development teams on regulatory expectations and helping position Siemens as a trusted partner through customer-facing engagements that highlight our cybersecurity strengths and differentiators. In this role you will work as a member of the Digital Industries Sales acceleration Portfolio sales specialist team responsible for all aspect of DI Cyber Portfolio, assessments and services. We are looking for a Cybersecurity Professional. This position will be based in the United States. Role Description: * Lead DoD CMMC Compliance Initiatives Oversee and execute Siemens DI’s compliance roadmap for CMMC 2.0, including scoping, readiness activities, third-party assessment coordination, and ongoing evidence management. * Manage CMMC Assessment and Remediation Lead the organization through a formal CMMC assessment process and ensure successful closure of any findings or gaps, including technical, procedural, and documentation-based remediations. * Guide Product Cybersecurity Strategy Collaborate with product and R&D teams to ensure that Siemens DI offerings meet applicable U.S. cybersecurity regulations, including DoD, NIST SP 800-171/172, and relevant federal acquisition requirements. * Engage with U.S. Customers on Cybersecurity Topics Represent Siemens Digital Industries in customer-facing discussions, articulating the company’s cybersecurity architecture, processes, and compliance posture to differentiate Siemens solutions in regulated markets. * Act as a Regulatory Subject Matter Expert (SME) Stay informed of evolving cybersecurity legislation, frameworks, and trends affecting critical infrastructure and defense sectors, ensuring Siemens DI remains proactive and aligned. * Develop and Maintain Key Security Documentation Oversee creation and updates to critical compliance documentation such as System Security Plans (SSPs), Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms), and security policies and procedures. * Collaborate Cross-Functionally Partner with Siemens DI stakeholders across IT, engineering, legal, and product management to embed cybersecurity best practices throughout the organization. Collaboration could also extend to SGT and other divisions. You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications: Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in field related to Cybersecurity. * 10+ years in cybersecurity, with a strong background in federal compliance programs (CMMC) * In-Depth knowledge of industry standards, regulations and IT security technologies (e.g NIST SP 800-171, FIPS, ISO 27000, IEC 62443 * Understanding of U.S. government contracting cybersecurity requirements (FAR, DFARS) * Strong knowledge of cybersecurity within industrial automation or product development environments * Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with technical teams, executives, and customers * Relevant certifications highly desired: CISSP, CISM, Certified CMMC Professional (CCP), Certified CMMC Assessor (CCA), CGRC, ISC2 or GIAC * Potential 25% domestic travel required * Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship Preferred Qualifications: * Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering * Preferred experience with minimum number of years * Preferred knowledge, skills, or expertise * Preferred education and focus and/ or certification (if applicable) You’ll benefit from: * Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to our employees. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
